Still waiting for Independence Air to open its December dates

I was hoping that since SW just opened some of its December dates, IA would follow today as well. We are waiting for December 3 to 10. I hope it will be soon, anyone know?

Have you found that their rates have gotten sky-high? (No pun intended) We flew them last February and got a great deal. They had only been flying out of SYR for about 6 months. Now, they are the most expensive airline out of SYR. We can fly Delta, United, AA, USAir, and even NW and JetBlue (who is also ridiculously high now) cheaper. I was really disappointed because I really liked this airline.

I've found them to be least expensive right as soon as they release the dates. Seems as though they get more expensive as the flight dates get closer.

Boy, was I wrong about this one! Maybe just because it's the week before Christmas, but December dates were released today and the flight I need is way more expensive than Delta! (Delta and Independence are the only 2 airlines that offer a direct flight from Knoxville to Orlando.) The flight down is $179 and the flight back is $89. BUMMER!!! Guess I'll wait and hope for a sale fare!

FLYI announced a sale today. Take a look, your dates may be included. I think the sale is for travel until 12-14-05.
