Just wondering if anyone out there is still waiting for their guidebook.
I've called approximately 6 times, and have been told at least 3 times that "the book has shipped."
The last time I called (mid-December?), she said that it would be shipped in 4-5 weeks(?!?).
It's so frustrating - we've been to WDW 3 times since they first shipped - but they refuse to let me pick on up, there. Apparently they're shipped from somewhere else(?), and don't just "drop one in the mail," but, rather, ship several at once - thus the "4-5 weeks" comment.
I also never got my pins. I expressed my disappointment with that, as well. They finally sent me two of the standard US Mickey pins you can buy in the parks, and attached them to the "Together, Memories, Family, Freedom" cards that the original pins were mailed on. A nice gesture, but I still wished they would have accounted for those pins that would be lost in the mail, and had some in reserves... That, coupled with the "garage sale" and "eBay" discussions makes me think that there was an apparent breakdown "somewhere" in the whole "patriotic pin" mailings...
That all being said - my Dues statement came right on time!!
...just venting and feeling like the only one without a guidebook.....
