Still so confused. Need some help

OK, so we have a 4 night, 5 park tickets package that starts on Wed. April 30th at Wilderness Lodge. We decided to book one night at POP for Tuesday April 29th since we wouldn't be getting in until close to midnight. Now we may be able to get in much earlier. I'd like to make some fast pass selections for Tuesday night but when I go on MDE it won't let me make any for that day. Does that mean that we can't start using the tickets until we check in at WL. Also can POP activate our bands for us or do I need to order a seperate bands just for POP. Sorry this is so long but I really am confused by all of this. Thanks

Did you link the new reservation in your MDE account?

It does show up on my MDE reservations page, so I guess it is linked ?? Not sure.

Did you just add a night at Pop recently? You should be able to get a MB for your Pop reservation. But it might not appear in your MDE account for another day or two after you made the reservation.

We will be doing a room only at POR on our arrival day (Friday) with a package at CBR beginning the next day (Saturday).

Since the tickets are part of your package, they are valid during your package days. Your magic bands are "controlled" by your MDE account and are not "activated" at your resort. All tickets/reservations in your MDE are already attached to your MB.

My suggestion would be, if you do in fact arrive early enough on your arrival day to make it worth using a park ticket, go to guest services and they will be able to give you a definitive answer as to if you can use your package tickets. Also, if you are arriving really early, it may be worth it to add an extra days ticket to your room only. I haven't done the math but after you have a 5 day ticket, the cost is not much to add an extra day or two.

DisneyAnytime did you get MB for your one night at POR or is that reservation also on your package MB ?. We already have our MB and I wasn't going to order any for just the one night stay. Can't we just put that one night at POP on the MB we already have ? Thanks!!

We went in December and had a room only reservation one night before our package started. We were able to "pick up" our tickets early meaning the CM at guest relations at the hotel linked them for us a day early. Do NOT add a ticket to your Pop resort stay, if you do not do it as part of your package you will just be purchasing a one day base ticket. If you want to add another day to your ticket do it with your package! You can wait and add the day while you are there to see if you actually need it.

You can only reserve fastpasses for as many days as you have tickets. If you have already reserved all your days, you'll need to add a day to book another day's fastpasses. You could add it to your WL package and pick it up early.

Thank you. I really appreciate all the help. When you checked in for just the one night did you all get another set of Magic Bands or did you use the ones you had from the package.
