I am still learning my new camer. I took this shot, and while I personally love it, I know its a bit blurry. I haven't ventured too much into the world of editting photos. I have tried a few sharpening tools but I don't see that it is any clearer. Any tips that I could try to make this photo great?

Any tips greatly appreciated. I hope to start using edit functions soon!

I guess as soon as I figure out how to add the picture it will help!

I keep getting the red x box!

It looks to me to be either camera shake or out of focus. You shot at 1/100 of a second so I doubt it is camera shake. Are you sure you had focus lock before actuating the shutter? I just played with it a little with Photoshop Elements and was able to sharpen and clean it up a little. Because of the shadow at the bottom of the picture it would be hard to crop for enhancement purposes. I would suggest you ensure focus lock and compose the picture better. Composition is something that I have had to work hard on. My DW is much, much better than I.:rotfl2:

You are probably exactly right. I was actually looking the other way when my dh happened to turn around and see this guy in the window. Honestly all i could think about was trying to get a shot before he left or moved.

I have a lot to learn. I am just starting to explore not only my camera but things I like to photograph. I love to take pictures, but I am always trying to figure out why I like spontaneous pictures better than posed.
