Still holding out for some miracle....FD late Aug

I know it's not gonna happen, and I've (almost) come to accept that there is no FD for late August....BUT, I am really hoping that by some miracle, it happens.

It would seriously make my day, err week...oh, who am I kidding...my entire year!

PLEASE DISNEY, PLEASE!!!!!!!

When I called about our resort a few weeks ago the CM told me that the September free dining was the last discount of the year. Don't know if they speak the truth but I think I would not count on Free Dining for August. My friend did just get a PIN for free dining in Oct. So you should call and see if there is a PIN attached to your name.

Disney's "year" ends on Sept. 30. They operate on a fiscal calendar. There is no way there will be no other discounts for 2013.

The current FD PIN code covers select dates from late August-late Dec. Call and see if you have one!

Definitely call and ask if you have a PIN. I found one attached to my name last month and have free dining started 8/25. Never got an e-mail or snail mail with the offer. That is, until this past week. Just got a snail mail flyer a week ago. So don't give up hope!

I still haven't received my PIN and I called and booked with it weeks ago. I don't know why, but I still want to get actually get it.

The PIN starts on 8/25. Sorry, but I think you are out of luck. Were you able to get the room discount, at least?

Yes, I got 20%. Better than nothing....just would really want FD.

Me too. Still hoping that by some miracle we are going to get the free dining pin. I've called and DH has called and we have no pin. I keep going through our reservations trying to decide what to keep and what to cancel if we don't get free dining.

Disney usually doesn't offer discounts for a period once that discount period has expired. The latest discount period expired June 14th. Other than sneaking into a room with someone who has free dining from last year's bounce back, then i think you are just going to have to enjoy your vacation without free dining.
