Still haven't received my Monsters Inc preorder from the disneystore.com

And it's hacking me off!!!! Called CS and all they could tell me is that it was shipped on the 4th and of course it doens't have a tracking number to go with it since it's shipped a different way than normal. She says it usually takes a while but it's normally there on release day. I know they've got the right address because it was part of an order that I placed in MAY!!! I'm so angry right now. All I want is my little ol monsters movies and the liths to go with it. This will teach me to ALWAYS preorder at the actual store!!!! Sorry....rant over now.

From my understanding the catalog and internet preorders were not to be shipped until the day of release, so give it a few more days!

Yes, it is much more convenient to order from the store, that way you get your freebies up front, and don't have to worry about it getting lost in the mail!

I wouldn't have a problem with it if they would have told me that it shipped on the release day (17th) but she told me that it shipped on the 4th. That's over 2 weeks ago!!!

From what I know also, the Catalog/Online is not to ship thier orders until the day it is released.

That is what we always tell our guests who tell us "oh I'm just going to order it online"

But eeyore's right, give it a few more days. Sorry for all the grief!

I received my DVD on Tuesday. I find that when I order online I usually receive it on release day but have received it as early as Saturday before a Tuesday release. There was also been one time when I didn't get it until several days later than release date. Hang in there - I'm sure it's on its way!

You might want to check with your post office if it is coming USPS. I preordered somehting from amazon and the post office held it until the release date. maybe they forgot to release them.

It ended up coming like 5 days after I got shipmewnt notice via USPS priority mail. I usually get my preorders from catalog mon before release date or as early as the sat before.

Got the one I ordered from Disneystore.com ..............TODAY!!!! I broke down and bought it from walmart on Friday. Now I've got 2 copies. One VHS and one DVD. I've preordered my Beauty and the Beast from the Disney Store in the mall!!!!!
