a few years ago I saw a package where you ate at one of the AK restaurants for lunch and you got a pass for a reserved seat at nemo..is that still going on? details?
thanks!

I don't believe so... but you shouldn't have trouble getting a seat. I've walked in 3 minutes prior to showtime and still got seated

This info is still posted right here on the DIS (wdwinfo.com)-

GET RESERVED SEATING AT FINDING NEMO: THE MUSICAL
Guests who have an Advanced Dining Reservation at Animal Kingdom's Tusker House restaurant for dining during select times will receive a ticket for reserved seating at the performance of "Finding Nemo the Musical."
It is asked that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the performance.

Seating at Tusker House from 1:00-1:40
will be eligible for the 3:15 performance.

Seating at Tusker House from 1:50-2:45
will be eligible for the 4:45 performance.

Same general info is still also posted at allears.com

I've seen no indication that they have discontinued this plan,
but I've not seen it discussed much recently.

The Tusker House charachter lunch was introduced in late 2011 (IIRC, early December). I was told when I made my ADR for January 2012 that the Charachter Lunch had suplanted the special Nemo: the musical seating. When we checked in, the CMs confirmed that Nemo seating was no longer available with lunch at Tusker House.

(As an aside, this was probably the worst charachter meal I've ever been to - very rushed. I wish they would switch back to the Nemo seating, which was wonderful.)

Yes, gone. It was a nice perk while it was around. I guess they know they can make a lot more money doing character meals.

We did this and to be honest, the seating wasn't great. Yes, it is right next to the stage, but your neck is kiling you by the end and it was hard for our kids to see what was going on in the back.
We are looking forward to going again this year with a better veiw.:goodvibes

To be honest, both times I've seen this it's been the quietest show at WDW in terms of people, I guess they dropped the seating because it's hard to see how it could be a perk when you probably only have a full house at peak season?

I would have taken advantage of this, I love memo, the theatre has been full to capacity the last few times we've been, even in January you had to queue early to get a decent seat/view.
