Hi, This tcob is being brought to you by,,,,,,,,,,,,
Manhattans!
Remember, you're in good hands, with Manhattans.
(don't look at me in that tone of eyebrow)
Yes, I just left Diane up at work. She says "Hi."
Not sure who she was saying hi to, wasn't me. She kept telling me "bye".
"Oh, your still here?" "Don't let the door hit you on,,,,,,,,,,"
I'm not positve, but I was starting to get the feeling she wanted me to leave.
I'm probably wrong though.
So, On withh tcby.
wait! Is that right? Takin Care of the Best Yogurt?
I dunno, looks right. I'll worry about the edit thing later.
Great episode as always. Funny stuff with the hot tub bubbles. My son would love it. I must agree with missmun52, and after talking with the infection control nurse where I work, I can't stomach the thought of hot tubs either. But the crystal palace buffet is 100% germ free.
Hope to read ya later tonight.
Ok Kathy, first I have to ask, how you know this. Secondly, if it wasn't for Missmun, I would have never even thought about asking the "firstly".
And C: , or thirdly, I didn't know the Crystal Palace had "hot tubs". (she's gonna want to come over and hit me, isn't she?)
When is the Great Nebo and Smidgey September Trip?
Besides being in September.
Dates even.
We'll be there from 9/1 to 9/8.
Don't let that keep you from coming to Disney.
No, nanadeb, I would have looked forward to it, if only to try out your "tens". tee hee.
crap, I did the tee hee thing again. That's it, no more Manhattans.
Uh, sorry Nanadeb, we'll be there later. We had two free dining packages sandwiched around a Dolphin for 125 a night, but it conflicted with another bartender where Diane works. So now we don't check in untill the 22nd. THE LAST DAY ELIGABLE FOR FREE DINING!
Not that we keep an eye on things like that.
Yep, I think I can say for all of us, sharing is highly overrated. I don't mean the germs in the tub, I mean the germ INFO on the blog. I'll bet you're a riot at an OLD COUNTRY BUFFET. To be honest, I would have thought that the high temperature would kill most germs, guess not , huh? (did you just hear everybody cringe knowing that she's going to answer this now?)
No the temp does not kill them. I say if its not too hot for you to even get in then you can rest assured that there is bacteria in there. People do come into the hospitals with infections they get from hot tubs because not everyone is as clean as you and I and not everyone (some who know they have a skin infection) cares. Because the temp of a hot tub makes the chlorine turn into vapor (poof all gone) you dont have protection like a pool.
Just a little info I guess. You dont want a staph infection, My son went through that last year, not pretty at all!
Ok, we all new it was coming. Always an entertaining post from Typhoid Mary. Honestly Missmun, I never thought about the heat, if it's good enough for me, it's good enough for the Germans. And I never knew that about how chlorine goes bye bye when the water temp gets cranked up. Thanks for informing us all about this information.
I'm not leaving the room next trip down to Riverside.
(please, oh please, don't get started on the "bedspread" , that sits on your bed and never gets changed when the sheets and pillowcases do. We have a word that we use for that covering, don't think I can use it here, though.
I would have gone absolutely nuts looking for the room.

The fountain is very cool...I'll totally agree w/ that. I hope that since Uni announced the HP theme park that Disney will do something new soon. You know they won't be out done. We won't go to Uni until HP theme park is done, b/c right now there is nothing there that we want to do.
Yes Disneymoon, you really only need to do Uni once every couple of years or so. And 3 nights is plenty. We will definately go back when Harry opens though, you know, in a mission just for research.
Yeah, it's Thursday. I get home from DS baseball practice in 90 degree heat and 40mph winds to find not one but two installments. My night is on an upswing.
Just one question--Who is Andy Frain. The ushers attacking was quite humorous but if I knew Andy would it be funnier??
A decent continental breakfast and you leave with a sweet roll? I'm soooo disappointed in you.
Two installments and no mention of drugs or the robbing of a drugstore.
Angela
Hi Angela, you know, I had to rethink my answer on this question, seeing that it came from you. A sport's fan, especially, a Blues hockey fan. When I was younger, and I don't go to nearly as many sports games anymore like I used to, weather it was Comiskey Park or Wrigley Field, or the Chicago Stadium, The Andy Frain Ushers were the guys and girls that would take care of all seating issues, and sometimes, first level securtiy. They wore these crisp, navy blue uniforms, with a "cop" type hat. They seated you, made sure you didn't try to sneak down into the box seats, and if you Really did something wrong, they would call the Real securtity on you.
Don't ask me how I know that, nothing like spending an entire twinight double header in the "bowels " of Comiskey Park, just cuz Ben thought it would be cool to light up a joint. Anyway, I thought they were a nationwide organization, maybe it was just a Chicago thing.
We were originally going to stay at All Star Music, but Disney just upgraded us this afternoon to Old Key West.
They overbooked the Values.
Awww.
Where will you be staying?
What? Am I the only one freaking out over that sentence? They screw up and jump you all the way to a DVC? They did that to us once at ASMU and we got a "water" view.
I wouldn't stand for it. No sir, no way.
I would demand a seven night stay in the castle. That's the least they can do.
We will be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. Unless they overbook it and upgrade us to a water view at All Star Sports.
That's it? ok, I'm done, thanks everyone, be back soon.
