still confused about what's available for views at BCV

I hear people talk about the pool views and the views of Epcot which I seem to be able to figure out in looking at the map of BCV. In the "Y" shape of the building, the pool view is in the upper section of the "Y" and the Epcot views are in the lower right hand section of the "Y". But what are you seeing on the other sides...those being the lower left side of the "Y" where I can see a walkway to Epcot (but it doesn't appear you'll be looking at vehicle traffic) and the little square area that faces the Beach Club Resort building (maybe the garden view)?

I'm just curious because I don't think I've heard much about those views and whether they're favorable or not.

We were just at the BCV's for President's week and I was calling that area the standard views (I also own at the BWV). The only trouble is that you still pay preferred points.

What exactly are you looking at on left side of the "Y"? I'm not familiar enough with BCV since we haven't been there yet and I'm wondering what the view is from your window on that side.

All views are the same point cost at BCV and lower floors won't have quite the same perspective as the upper floors, even within the same section of the building.

The courtyard view is the area between the villas and the Beach Club- actually we found it an ideal location as we were close to the exit which made for easy access to Epcot, SAB , etc.

To add to the confusion is that while there are 4 general views listed here, when I called MS to reserve BCV and requested "woods/wetlands view" (which I had last time and loved), I was told that there were only 3 views at BCV and that wasn't one of them. Since I'm concerned, I'm going over there in May when we're going to be at OKW to ask the front desk if maybe MS gave me the wrong info. But the CM sounded sure that there was no such view to request as "woods/wetlands".

Gosh, let me know what you find out....because we finally decided on the Woods/Wetlands view and that's exactly what I asked for when I called last week, and that's what MS said they would write down as our request!

Now I'm confused too!

I think you want a courtyard view - go look at the BC map on doc reply.

For some reason MS may not realize that BCV has a Woods/Wetlands view, but that is definatly what it is called on the map that BCV uses to assign rooms! So I would call MS and just ask them to put that on the ressie.

You can see some of World Showcase from the upper floors of the Woods/Wetlands view and some of Illuminations, but I doubt if you can see any of Epcot from the lower floors . . . so there is definitely a Woods/Wetlands view.
