Still Can't Get Over the Price I Got!!

I called only to get pricing...b/c not sure if we were gonna use our
flight credit to go back to wdw (or even if at all...we're very tight
for $ but wanted to do something nice for DD17 who had a rough school
year and worked hard)...I ended up leaving a deposit!!

$1140.15 at CSR for 3 nights (7/6-7/9)...4 day PH ticket...dining..1
adult, 1 junior!!!
I really just couldn't pass it up...this price is about $81 or so
cheaper than the same rack rate price at ASMo, etc and about $250
cheaper than the online quoted price for CSR!!

CM said it was a manager's special...our flight back will be
completely covered by the credit...now just hoping to find a very
decent flight rate down on the sunday of 3 day 4th of july weekend

We really don't have the money for this...but it's so hard to pass
up...should i give in and just go??? (btw we were there in apr and nov
of 2007)

If you have the extra funds and it won't cause you to have to give up something else, then sure...go for it! Your 17 year old will soon be off on her own and it'll be a nice shared time to make a memory before she's out of your home and pursuing things besides being with family. ---Kathy

The only downfall I see here is that your going Fourth of July weekend. Crowds are going to be If you don't care about that, then I say go for it! But then again, I'd never tell anyone not to spend their money on a Disney vacation. Had you told me you were homeless and found $1140.15 ( as well as a computer that was connected to the DIS ), I'd still have said spend it on CSR.

well technically i'm not going fourth of july weekend...i'm arriving on sunday...from looking at park hours...sunday is the only day when i'm there that park hours seem to be extended from normal (MK until 12am instead of 11pm)

we travel to wdw in the summer all of the time so we are pretty used to it...we have gone around 7/4 in the past but not for like 15 years or so

been on July 4 - go early - leave when the place is too crowded - go swimming, shopping, take a nap, then go back after the fireworks - when everyone else is leaving the parks.

okay you go to Epcot before then. but the MK is just too crowded!

In 2006 I was offered a great rate at CSR. I wasn't planning on going, just pricing it out, so I gave it up. It was like $60 a night. The CM I talked to said he had only heard of things like this happening before, but never seen it happen himself. He told me it can happen when a person doesn't have fixed dates. But my rate was room only though.
