What's in your yarden, that's still putting on a show? :D

My Monkshood (a late bloomer anyway), is doing it's thing, and amazingly, my little Pia hydrangea is still blooming! I didn't really expect it to last so long, and if we ever get the camera software downloaded, I'll post a pic. Soon it will be time to take her out of the container, and heel her into the garden.

My Blanketflower is also still putting out some flowers, as are my potted begonias, and a few, very few impatiens. Of course, the Autumn Joy Sedum is looking good too!

Next? :D

Morning kim.

My monkshood looks good too.

My grasses have all shot their plumes and are looking awesome...the ones next to the house are so tall they are up to the second floor windows!!!!

my montauk daisy is still looking bright and it looks like I have a wayward coreopsis bloom or two out there.

My forsythia leaves have turned an awesome color, brightening up the place and I had some late blooming hosta I just cut the flowers off.

mu mums are still showing some color too.

:earseek: Wow, that must look amazing, Vanessa!!!! :sunny:

Pic please, pretty please, pretty please with chocolate on top??? :smooth: I'd love to see that!

Mornin' to you too, Bud! :D

I still have dahlias, hydrangea, aster, a few roses and my trooper snapdragons blooming. I also planted winter pansies along my front walkway and they look great.

I'm reading your stories and thinking that you are all so lucky, and then I remembered, my french mallows didn't begin blooming until Sept, and they are going strong in my back yard. They are in the oddest places, around the heat pump for instance, but I'm a firm believer in bloom where you can, so I'm enjoying them.

I also picked about a 1/2 cup of red raspberries today, not quite setting the world on fire, but enough to enjoy at breakfast.

Bobbi:D

I have chrysanthemums blooming everywhere.....in colors I don't remember having ever before!

I have my mums a still bloomin' and the petunias that are planted between them are still going strong. There are still a few snap dragons still green and flowering in the front garden.

I still have begonias, geraniums, impatiens and coleus looking not too bad in my planters that are in protected areas.

Out in my garden, the hostas and euphorbia are looking pretty yellow but my Boston Ivy, Burning Bush, Cut Leaf Japanese Maple and Stone Crop are a nice contrast.

Most of my annuals have been removed, except my marigolds in the front and their putting on quite a show.

Other flowers still blooming Monkshood, Asters, Bindweed (a bush morning glory) Gazania and Gerbera, chinese lanterns, Joe Pye Weed, Sedum, grasses and toad lily
