I need some info on Stickles??? How do you use it? When do you use it? Is it better than glue and glitter?
I have a set of glitter from doodlebug and use it with glue.....is it any different than doing this??
Thanks!:goodvibes

I've used Stickles to add a little sparkle to my pages. I've never used glue and glitter. The great thing about Stickles is that the glitter stays consistent through out the glue, it doesn't settle to the bottom. The bottle comes with a fine tip so you could write with them if you wanted. Here is a page I did a while back. I used yellow stickles on the stars.

Here's a close up of the stars. The bigger star is outlined and the little stars are covered with Stickles.

Hope that helps.

They are just a lot neater. No shaking glitter on glue and then pouring back into the bottle. They are like glitter pens and you can use them anywhere. I LOVE  them and use them all the time.

Here are some layouts I used them on.

The word Gang is stickled.

I have purchased almost all of mine online. You can get good deals on some websites and ebay.

Oh gosh Denise ... boy does your LO bring back memories ... 2 of my little guys were born 10 weeks early.

Can't really comment on using Stickles yet but I can tell you that I purchased mine from www.scrapbookpal.com ... they have free shipping on orders over $25. There is something about free shipping that makes me very happy.

Thanks for all the info.....Ya that pour glitter on paper and back into the bottle is a drag....Im going to get some these!

Oh gosh Denise ... boy does your LO bring back memories ... 2 of my little guys were born 10 weeks early.

He was 7 weeks early after 5 weeks of hospital bed rest (my 1yo was home with DH). My water broke at 28 weeks (exactly one year ago 1/4) and we managed to keep him in for 5 weeks. He was in the NICU for 17 days. I was very lucky he only had digestive problems and all is resolved now. I have never seen a baby eat so much. Hard to believe he was so tiny.

Only downside with stickles is they take AGES to dry - leave overnight out of reach of tiny fingers (or paws);)

Actually if you leave them directly under a light (crafting light) they dry very quickly. I have even stickled at crops with no problems.

I suggest ordering them from scrapbookpal.com also. They have some of the bext prices I have found and quick, free ($25+) shipping.

One neat trick about stickles is if you get a clear one like frosted lace you can make any patteren paper into glitter paper. PS There are different kinds of stickles. Those labled ICE contain larger glitter pieces. Frosted lace that I mentioned are smaller glitter pieces.

I have been using a lot of my Stickles recently- they just add a POP to the page. I wrote down all of the colors I have, and when I go to my scrapbook store- I buy one I don't have. (I had bought a few of the same)

Ok...i went to an all day crop today 11am to 11pm and tried the Stickles....OMG im hooked!!!! way better than the glitter and glue which i got allover me and my space... GRRR!!!

Thanks for all of the advice and sharing your tips!
