Can anyone suggest where I might find the little velcro circles that will hold my invites together?

Or even what they're called so I can look for them myself? :lmao:

Thank you oh wise ones!! :goodvibes

Try any arts and craft or scrap booking store. Try searching for velcro stickers or something like that...

I wanted circles, but I think I ended up with squares. I found mine at one of the big chain office supply stores. But I'm sure you could also find them at a Walmart too. I would check the office supply & craft sections. A Joanns or Michales should have them too.

Unfortunately we don't have any of those in the UK! :rotfl: Thank you though!!

Are you talking about Glue Dots?

I'm thinking they need to be velcro really rather than glue dots (presumably they stick permanently?) coz the invitation still needs to be able to be opened, it's just the flap won't stay closed at all, it springs right up...

if you go to a local material/dress makers store (plenty fo those around the uk!) they sell the strips of velcro (or even in asda on the end of the aisle where they have the pins etc) and you could cut circles out - will probably be much cheaper!

I have tons left over from my invitations (both squares and circles). PM me if you are interested in them. How many do you need? I would just figure out how much the shipping would be.

Just as an FYI - I used them and they made my invitation heavier and thicker and we had to pay extra postage to mail them (but it was worth it).

Hi Linda,

Thanks so much for this kind offer, however in the meantime I found some on ebay under 'velcro dots' and I've already bought them.

Thanks for the tip as well regarding the postage, I didn't think of that!!

No problem - glad you found something.

I used the Cards and Pockets invitations and I really loved the way the velcro dots held the invitation closed but it did add alot to our postage - just something to consider. You might want to do a mock up with the velcro and without the velcro and bring it to your post office and check out the postage.

Linda
