I really want one sticky thread with all the rules for fast pass and fast pass plus.

how does the fast pass plus work? how do the magic bands work?

is it that impossible to have one thread outlining the entire
process.?

The #1 problem with such a thread is that it would still change. They are still just testing. They are still changing things often. So a thread created now would have to change each time.

FWIW, when you log in to disneyworld.com and go to the MyDisneyExperience section, there's a little video where Edna Mode (from Incredibles) gives you a rundown on things. If you have a trip coming up soon they seem to be sending out USB drives which have more info by Edna Mode. (I got one for my checkin Jan 7th and another for Jan 8th checkin)

They are pretty good rundowns on how it's supposed to work, IMO.

As stated, there are no official "rules" at this time. I would think there would be a sticky note once Disney officially announces the rules after the testing process. And, as far as I know, there is no carved in stone end of testing phase date yet.

With any luck, there will be an end to many things involved in FP+
before they carve the rules in "gunnite" (Disney's version of "stone.")

I was looking for a stickie myself...

I have some questions:

Mainly, is it possible to secure FP+ without park tickets first? Our aunt is getting us in everday and we'll be getting those tickets at the gate.

Can one use the paper FP instead of the FP+?
Are the number of paper FPs reduced now to accomodate the FP+?
Can I double dip, using both paper and FP+?

Thanks

I just came back WDW, and I noticed that the majority of rides do have the FP+ and not the normal paper FP. So depending on what ride(s) you really want to go on, I would do FP+ for those.

I only double dipped once the entire trip/

And TDO wins one at last...

THIS is the attitude they're hoping to engender.

1- Nope.

2- If by "getting us in" you mean Cast Member tickets, I don't know if those
tickets offer FP+ at this time.

3- Yes.

4- Looks that way.

5- You can, if you are able to use FP+.

Yes, as long as it's a test, those rules might change and change often. Woudln't want to have to keep up a sticky on that right now.

I don't think they are accepting cast member tickets for FP+ at this time.

well, I LOVE Edna Mode, so it wouldn't hurt to watch that! but Molly, what the heck is a USB drive ? (I am techno challenged.:rotfl:)

we will be going end of April, 5 nights on points at BWV and 5 nights at POFQ, with a room only discount. we are planning on using our 2 day tickets we have from fall 2012 free dining (unused) and after using them once, upgrading to annual passes.

I'm willing to bet no one here right now has any idea how it will be in APril... sigh.. and I used to be the "go to " amongst our friends and family for "how to" as far as WDW is concerned.
