For some reason, my mind did not compute all the points I have together. I know I have 300 OKW points and 170 BCV points, and we just purchased 160 AKV points. My brain only saw it as "470 and now 160" I never bothered to add them together.

I went to DVC member.com and veiwed my contracts.....yearly points allottment.....630!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Goodness! I never imagined I would have that many DVC points. With banking and borrowing, we could take some pretty NICE vacations!!!!

If you want to get very obsessive yet keep yourself busy enough not to add-on again, just do what I do... work up a chart of how many max stays you can manage in one year's worth of points at the various resorts, seasons and room sizes.

With 630, you can manage several weeks in very nice accommodations.

We have 320 and I figured we could do 7-12 days in pretty much all the resorts depending on the season and room configuration. It doubles or triples if you're just using studios.

I had this moment last year. LOL!

I have two use years so it took me a while to realize I really had MORE points then I need. So I sold two contracts. I was at a good number until TODAY. Now I have 150 NEW AKV points. Something else will have to go this year LOL! Not sure what!

Hmmmm -- that comment almost makes this board sound like the "Budget Board".

That board seems to have the most unhealthy group of individuals -- a sizeable proportion of the regular posters on that board seem to be overly worried about dropping dead tomorrow and so they must spend, spend, spend $$$$ to "make memories" for their children at WDW.

Sorry you waited so long. I didn't want to admit that it took me awhile! LOL I was trying to figure out why just 36 points DUH! My repsonse time would of been very embarrassing!

Yeah that is a lot of points. Greenban probably just got a good chuckle out of reading this. The guy has something like 3200 points. Imagine the trips you could plan with those?

If you ever find yourself with too many points....you could rent some to me!
We are thinking of buying into DVC, but it's a bit rich for our blood right now.

Really!?!? Geesh, we have 340 and I could easily use another 340! If we had em' we'd be there more often! I keep trying to explain to DS that 2A, 1C and an infant don't need a GV. But I guess with more points, we could get one just for fun!
