What is this ride? What all happends? I only ride things like Dumbo, Pooh, Peter Pan, etc. I don't like the Haunted house....too dark for me....

My wife and I went on this and had no idea, like yourself what it was all about. We queued with mainly teenagers and I thought, this was going to be pants - but, how wrong we were!

It's actually quite good and definitely worth it because it's so different and yes, at times the 10 minute show does occasionally get dark and if you don't mind bouncing up and down in your ride chair and getting slightly wet - then I recommend it. If not - don't bother.

do you like the smell of chili dogs?

well if you don't like dark places then SGE isn't for you since the majority of the "show" is in the dark.
You sit in a seat and there is a shoulder harness thing that you pull down. Stitch jumps on you and runs around.

It's eeehhh. good for a "I've seen it and I don't need to see it again"

It won't un-nerve you or anything, but it is nothing remarkable. Still, good to see it once.

This was the only attraction at Disney that I've ever been disappointed in. I thought it was pretty bad.

My 7yr old boy liked it and my 14 yr old girl thought it was "cute" . It won't scare you and at least it is more Disney than the last couple of carnival type rides they stuck in like flying carpets and the dinosaur thing in AK. I'd do it and glad I did but add it to the list of do once a trip rides not multiple times like the mountains. The getting wet is a mist or light spray it I got wetter at Mermaid.

I was personally so GROSSED OUT by this ride I can't even tell you...I Have a "thing" about bad breath and seriously...this pert near put me over the edge! I was very disappointed in this ride...I love Stitch dearly, but sorry pal, your ride STUNK...literally! ;)

You got that right! Once is more than enough. :sad2:

I agree that it is defiantly a need to do at least once to say you did it attraction. At times it was cute but I wouldn't do it again. My dd7 came out and said "well that was boring". But everyone is different, you might like it. :)

I "rode" it when I visited in 2000, when it was still Alien Encounter. I know some people found it scary or un-Disney-like but I just thought it was rubbish. Not scary but not entertaining either. It was my first WDW ride and I was hugely disappointed. :sad2:
Fortunately I then rode Buzz Lightyear, then everything else in WDW and came home very happy. :goodvibes

Is "Stitch's Great Escape" any better or worse? Is it worth me going back there on my next visit?
