Steve the Crocodile Hunter

Just heard on the news this morning that there are reports that Steve the Crocodile Hunter has died. He was apparently bitten by a stingray while filming a documentary.

This is sad news as he was amazing to watch.

I am devastated. He was a wonderful man, and the only celeb I ever wanted to meet. I am a Australia Zoo Club member, and huge fan. Its just awful and I cant imagine what his family are going through. And we always thought it would be a croc that got him....

Its devastating news. I could not believe it when Bruce told me this morning. As people mentioned I was convinced a croc would get him, but a stingray my god. Its such a shame he passed away. My thoughts go out to his family. Its so sad

Very Sad

It just seems so surreal that after spending years handling dangerous crocodiles, poisonous snakes and spiders, all of which are well known to be dangerous and have killed many people, he gets killed by a Stingray which until now there have been no other known victims of.

My thoughts go out to his family who must be absolutely devastated by this.
