i'm so glad i read your reviews! we are heading down next friday for free dining and we are going to yak & yeti for lunch one day and i am like you, i've read so many bad reviews and the menu is not that great but we are limited to AK restaurants so by looking at your shrimp lomein, i maybe getting that. we are going to narcoossees as well and you changed my mind on the surf and turf, i'm getting the lobster only! at cali. grill, i like calif rolls but i want to order a steak, i think. thanks for your reviews! can't wait to be there!:cool1:

Do you happen to remember which appetizers and dessert were not included on the plan at Yak and Yeti?

Subbing...popcorn:: Getting excited for my trip next with with DBF! No deluxe DDP, but a free regular one is not too shabby :rotfl:

Great review! These pics are mouthwatering! (But some of the first page pics aren't loading for me.)

Fantastic pix and reviews!

One question: At Yak & Yeti, you said the waitress mentioned "Some appetizers and one dessert were meant to be shared so they counted as 2 on the dining plan."

Do you remember which ones? I've never heard this before as a stipulation at Y&Y.

I can't remember. I thought there were a few appetizers that were to be shared but Steve thinks it was only the Dim Sum Basket. As for desserts, only the Chocolate Brownie Sundae was for sharing.

i am really enjoying your review. Very informative. :) You are very descriptive of the food, even taste. Lots better than..."it was fine":rotfl:

Keep up the great work.

We were there in Dec 30- Jan 5 on the DLXDP and ate at Yak an Yeti and we got the Dim Sum Basket on DDP and didn't have any problem ordering and my sister got the chocolate brownie sundae. we weren't told that we couldn't get them. there were no exculsions when we were there

After looking at that whole lobster pic I am suddenly starving for lobster. :goodvibes

I am also glad to hear about the Lobster. I plan getting exactly what you ordered, because of your review. Thank you!!:thumbsup2
