"View" co-host Sherri Shepherd joins the cast of former "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl's film "One for the Money," based on the popular series by Janet Evanovich.

Shepherd will tackle dual roles, playing two hookers with hearts of gold, according to Variety. In the books, main character Stephanie Plum only has one hooker friend -- big beautiful Lula. There are no details about Shepherd's dual roles but one of them is likely Lula. What would the other one be?

Shepherd joins Heigl, Jason O'Mara (Morelli), Daniel Sunjata (Ranger), John Leguizamo (Jimmy Alpha) and Patrick Fischler (Vinnie Plum) in the "Money" cast. We can't wait to find out who they cast as Grandma Mazur. Might we suggest... Betty White?

No way will I be paying any money to watch this movie! Maybe when it comes on cable I will watch it, but I can not stand Sheri Shepherd.

Love the books....can't stand the cast they picked. BTW, the other hooker is Jackie -- I think she's only in Book 1. Guess I won't be watching this movie (unless the pick Betty White as Grandma).

I like the casting for Lula and Ranger, but Katherin Heigl and Jason O'Mara are nowhere near the way I imagined Stephanie and Morelli.

BIG mistake. The producers are taking HUGE liberties they shouldn't be taking. Lula was sassy in "One for the Money", but a MINOR character. They're WAY overstepping their bounds. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

That's who I picture as Lula when I read the books! I wish they would cast someone different for Stephanie though. I was watching The Wedding Crashers the other night and thought Rachel McAdams may be a good Stephanie. I have no clear image in my mind for her when I read. But I always picture Sherri Shephard as Lula and the old lady from Desperate Housewives as Grandma. I love Betty White but don't think this is the right role for her. Need to google the rest of the cast because I don't know who they are.
