I've seen many people mention these books and recommend them as well. So I was wondering if they go in any order? Is there a particular one I should start with or are they all different except having a main character?

Thanks for your help!! Suggestions and opinions greatly appreciated!!:D

Yes, it is best to read these books in order. Start with One for the Money, then Two for the Dough, Three to get Deadly, etc.

This has to be one of the best series I have ever read. Stephanie is so funny. You will get a good laugh out of her experiences. And you will find that not only can you not put the book down, but you will be hungering for the next one as soon as you finish one.

Thanks Mary!!!:D

I joined a bookclub a couple of months ago and they have shown a few of her books on the lists. I never paid much attention to them because I hadn't heard of them...that is until I started reading the threads on the Dis!!!

So I will definitely start with One For the Money!!:D

it's best to read them in order, but I started with Three, then bought one, two, etc. The only one I was confused because I read out of order was Visions of Sugar Plums, her Christmas book.

All of the Stephanie Plum books are great... I can't wait until 11 comes out, whenever that may be!! You can get them on EBay also.

I used to read the VC Andrews series and just got the recent one, which is first of the new series.

Plus I have been hooked on the Stephen King Dark Tower series as well. I have been waiting for my daughter to buy the fifth book so I wouldn't have to, but I ended up checking it out of the library the other day because the 6th book is already out and the 7th and final will be out in december.

Obviously I love to read!!!

I am just now trying to justify paying the hardback price for the number 10 Stephanie Plum book. I also like the Sue Grafton series and Elizabeth Peters is my favorite.

Yes, I am trying to justify the price for the hardback too; while I love her books, I don't love them as much as Sue Grafton or Diane Mott Davidson. I am on the hold list at the library, but 150 people are ahead of me! She does write a fun, easy, read though....very humorous. ;)

Hardcovers sure can get costly, but paperbacks aren't exactly reasonably prices anymore either. They certainly don't make it easy to encourage our kids to read...unless you live reasonably close to a library.
