Step-stools in staterooms?

Silly question, but can you request a step-stool for your stateroom? My daughter is generally too short to reach the sink in most bathrooms. At home, of course, we use a stool. However, when we are out I usually have to lift her up, and it's not very comfortable for either of us. So, I was wondering if a small stool was something we can request from our room host?

I don't know if you can get a stepstool from your stateroom host, but I found the awesome-ist thing at BJ's Warehouse this weekend - a folding step stool!
Our DD was always small for her age, and we've been travelling with her since she was about 11 months old - so there were *many* times we wished we had a step stool! I saw this at the store on Saturday and said to my DH, "Where was this when we needed it!?!"

If we had another small one, I would just track down a folding step stool and get one to take with us. That way you'd have it at any pre- or post-cruise hotels, and for future travel as well. It looked like it would fold flat enough to fit securely in a suitcase, and was about the size of a laptop when folded so could concievably go into a carry-on! I thought it was awesome... but didn't note the price, since our DD has outgrown the need! :lmao:

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting the link to the one at Target. I'm ordering it now. My son just potty trained and won't use a bathroom in public b/c he can't reach the potty without me lifting him. It has become a challenge (to say the least). I'm going to carry this in my car and then take it on our cruise too! :)
