Grand Floridian Cafe -

* Never been to the Grand Floridian, so it's a chance to see a new resort
* The interior is absolutely lovely - so light & airy w/ nice views the gardens - kinda nice for our last morning
* They have Mickey waffles & pancakes for the kids (& for me too!) - which is nice for our last morning
* Not many reviews of this restaurant

Kona Cafe -

* Will have been to Ohana just the previous evening
* Tonga Toast! Macadamia Nut Pancakes!
* They too have have Mickey pancakes (but no waffles) for the kids
* Interior seems kind of dark and crowded; nothing "special" for our last morning
* tons of reviews - mostly thumbs up! And, can you actually be a Dis-er & not try Tonga Toast?

So, cast your vote! What's more important? Atmosphere (Grand Floridian) or Food (Kona Cafe)? Which is more special for your last morning?

Where would you take your family on your last morning at WDW before going back to the WL, collecting your luggage, and driving away...

I love to eat breakfast at both places, so this is a toughy. If you are going to be at O'hana the evening before then I suggest GFC. It is beautifully decorated with bright colors and has a gorgeous view of the grounds and pool area. I feel more laid back at the GFC and people are not gawking at you while walking by.

The Kona Cafe, as you mentioned, is darker and louder from the line from O'hana and open lobby. I think wandering around the GF is nice and relaxing before your drive back.

Easy-you're a "picky" eater. I prefer to say that my taste buds are just more sophisicated

I would definately go to the Gran Floridian for breakfast.

I picked GF because you will have gone to Kona, I know not breakfast. We really like both places for Breakfast.

The Grand Floridian Cafe and their eggs benedict, tonga toast and macadamia nut pancakes can't beat it. You take the Kona Cafe, I'll take the Grand Floridian Cafe.

I voted for Kona. BUt I must say there is nothing "dark" about it. In fact, it would be hard to find a more open and accessable spot. IT dosen't even have a front wall!!
