Did anyone see this today at 2:00 pm (OK, so most of you were probably at work and not home watching the ABC Family Channel).

Anyway, they stayed at Old Key West! It was so neat to see the resort on the show. One of the kids slept in the big bathtub!

I first took the sales spiel at OKW several years ago. At the time, they were gearing up to film that episode. I can't exactly remember, but I seem to recall seeing some of the props, and the car used in that episode.

Thanx for the heads up, I'll try to watch!

Maistre Gracey, do you know what year this is from? They still had the Mr. Toad's ride and they ate at a restaurant that I remember (sorry, forgot the name).

So I was curious as to what year this was.
It was cute! Showed lots of park scenes, but I have to admit, seeing Old Key West really made the show for me! I am taping it for my kids, so we will all watch it tonight.

ARGHH! I didn't know it was on now, or I would have also taped it.
Anyway, I can probably figure out the month and year once my wife gets home. I took the tour of OKW with my father-in-law. Although we have gone with the in-laws several times, I believe this is when we took them for their 25th anniversary. The problem is, I don't remember when their 25th was... :p
I will ask my wife when she gets home...

I just did a search on that episode, according to a website I found the show was from May, 1996. Now it may have been taped earlier, this is probably when it aired.

My wife is not home yet, but this seems about right. Our 5/95 trip was our honeymoon, so I know it wasn't that one. I think it was the trip after that, 3/96. That would put taping two months prior to airing. I have no idea if that is a normal schedule, so I could still be off on the date.
I don't know exactly how close they were to taping while we were there. Our guide pointed out some equipment to us, and told us what it was all about.
For some reason I remember seeing a car. Was there a particular car in that episode? :cool2:

I just watched the tape with my kids, and yes, there was a yellow 'car' that looks like a National Park Bus from the early 1900's. On the door of the car was the Disney Vacation Club logo. The family was staying in a grand villa. It was a cute show. Of course, no Animal Kingdom since it was taped before that park opened.

I'm sure it will repeat again sometime.

YES!!! I do remember the 'car' was yellow. I also remember something being weird about it... markings, or something. It was parked near the entrance way to the front desk area!

Anyway, my wife did confirm that it was the March '96 trip that we took the in-laws for their 25th. However, she did not confirm that was the trip we toured OKW, but it more than likely was. There also could have been some carry over from different months (Feb or April), depending if we went early or late March.

Thanx for confirming the 'car' thing!
