We will be in the park on Friday!!! I can't find any threads in the anna and Elsa meet and greet!

Where do I go for the fp?

Where exactly is the meet and greet?

Is it in the pff area???

Instructions based on my experience early this month:

  • At park opening, go directly to the castle.
  • Go to the left of the carrousel.
  • The Frozen meet and greet has Olaf on the roof (you can't miss it).
  • The first few groups (perhaps a dozen) will be given the option to immediately line up, or get a Fastpass.
  • The fastpass line is handled by CMs, tickets are scanned.

Lol. I suppose it is sorta like a dance. But thank you!!!^^^ this is exactly what I needed. :) I'll toss in a little jig when I am there.

What about on early entry before the park opens to everyone else? Do they have have the M&G open already or hand out FPs?

When I went on October 4, it was a 7AM Magic Morning -- I was done with the meet and greet at 7:13 :goodvibes

Guests without Magic Morning access should watch for CMs with Frozen signs, before rope drop. The fastpass system may have calmed the morning rush, so a rope drop line is not needed -- but look out for signs anyway.

When I was there last Wednesday (10/22) they were lining guests up before rope drop in front of the castle. There were CMs with signs. One line had already filled when I got there, and they were starting a second one.

To be specific, the M&G is next to Pinocchio in what used to be a corner of the Village Haus restaurant (its the same place where the Rapunzel M&G was in the past).

They hand out the 'fast passes' (they are not tied in any way to the actual fast pass system) just a little beyond the actual M&G queue area. The queue goes in front of the Village Haus restaurant toward the Thunder Mountain Trail.

This past Sunday (8am park open, no EE/MM in DL), we got to the park around 8:30 and headed directly to the "fastpass" line. We arrived via the Monorail (we were coming from DLH and there was zero line at the DTD station so we hopped aboard) so I went around Matterhorn into Fantasyland. I'm not sure if there were any signs on Mainstreet directing you where to go since we didn't come in that way. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes in the line to get the return ticket. Our return time was 2:20-2:40pm.

You must have ALL tickets/APs for anyone in your group who will be coming back for the M&G when you get in the return pass line. They will scan each ticket/AP and give you a return pass. You even need a return pass for infants/toddlers in a stroller that don't have a park ticket. That said, all those people don't have to be present, one person can wait in line with all the tickets. When you come back for the M&G at your return time, they will look at your return pass and again scan everyone's ticket.

When we returned for our window at 2:25, we waiting approximately 10 minutes in line then had a lovely M&G with Anna & Elsa. My 2 DDs were thrilled :)

Just to be clear, and to add to the last post, there is no need to go right at park opening (rope drop or EE), but you do need to go early to get one. How early will depend on how busy the day is. I was there at the beginning of October, Saturday, EE day (7am EE, 8am open) and FPs ran out around 8:50. That was a very busy day. I got mine at about 8:25am with a return time of about 5:30. You will need all your tickets both when you get the FPs and when you get there for your return time.

baaaah.... you all were lucky LOL we went in August there was NO fastpass... we stood for 2+hours and my daughter was NOT moving out of that line period lol

Can you explain a little more about the infants/toddlers needing a pass? Did I read that right? I may just send DH with our tickets to get the passes. I would not have ever thought to have him ask for one for a toddler. Do they tell you that when they are handing them out???

Thanks everyone for the info to E&A FP's. I'm sure my DGD will be interested in this when we're there in March.

I'm going to add this to my collection of Disney Favorites. It will be there right next to the "Wide Right Technique".

It's tips like this that help when visiting the parks.

Yeah, I mentioned that because its so odd...I can't think of anything else where non-ticketed little ones need to be accounted for! They did have several CMs working the line who repeatedly stated this as part of the spiel every couple minutes about having all your tickets ready etc. I didn't actually have an under 3 with me but they were describing that you had to tell them and they would give you a pass for them and write on it that it was for an under 3.

I will make sure I tell DH that then, just to be sure he doesn't miss that! Thanks!!!
