Steeler Fans

I looked at http://www.playoffticker.com/, and they're giving the Steelers about a 55% chance of beating the Browns. Ouch. I guess we've had 2 of the last 4 Super Bowls, so we should give someone else a chance. :)

Ouch is right. If they loose to the Browns they need to be whipped. A team playing all second string players should be able to beat them.

I don't think it is just bad playing, because they have had some great moments. And besides it isn't like they are getting pounded the entire game and loosing by huge point variances. They are loosing by what 3 to 6 points on average? If they were loosing by like 21 points or more each game, then I would say they were loosing it.

I think part of the problem is that they are making some bad decisions. Like yesterday, why the heck would they not go for the 3 points instead of having Ben make a first down? Who made that call? Tomlinson? Ben? Whoever made it, it was stupid.

Also, Reed hasn't been the best this year as far as kicking goes either. It is pretty bad when the visiting team kickers show up the home teams kicker.

I thought I knew what he said, but I didn't think it was anything that would prevent him from playing next week. What is going on?

Hines has a hamstring injury and he is questionable for Thursday.

they need to play like a team and stop bad mouthing one another, they have enough of that from the announcers and opponents.. if they lose on thursday my steeler decorations come down and i'll be rooting for the Vikings..brett favre the old man wonder and he's a DVC'er gotta love that!

Favre's a DVC'r? I did not know that. You learn something new every day.

No matter what, I'll still be rooting for the Steelers come Friday. It's in my blood.

:scared1: I'm still in shock from last night's game. I believe that Mike Tomlin can turn the team around next year though.

this game was my hubb's b-day present from his brother. There were seven of them going. He's been saying all week, the way they are playing he expected the browns to win. he is a lifelong steelers fan.

On the upside, he called me this morning to tell me that he still has all his fingers and toes and nothing has turned black. -12 with the windchill. I'm so glad I didn't talk him into taking our youngest to the game and letting him miss school today.

Not much to add here except to say that I'm reading this thread from Cleveland, Oh........

Can we all say 6? :)

Seven would be better.

You're right. We have a lot to be proud of. But this has been a painful season to watch because of the "if we only could have ..."

I was at the game last night and I froze my rear off, seriously, it's probably the coldest I've been in my entire life but it was awesome to witness that win for the BROWNS! WOOF WOOF! :cool1:
