Steel Drum Music Help

This is not cruise related, but I know my fellow DCL cruisers would be the ones to go to...

My 16 yr old daughter wants steel drum music for her birthday party. I can find the "staples" and classic steel drum music but I am looking for Disney songs and maybe some pop music done on steel drums (not current songs that have steel drums in them but familiar songs done on steel drums instead of their radio version, if that makes sense).

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it, my google skills are not helping today..

Go to Amazon and look for "Beauty and the Beat" Steel Drum. All classic Disney songs done in steel drum. Not the GoGo's Beauty and the Beat.

I have had it for years and love it! And, actually it does pertain to cruising....many people play this to get in the mood for their cruise!!!

I have an Aunt, out in Arizona, who is a retired teacher. She took up a hobby and plays with a steel Drum band. She's adorable. She just does her own thing! { That video is not her }

Love hearing steel bands while laying out in the sun on deck!

I picked up some of Bob Lyon's cds a while back. He's got a few albums that are mostly islander stuff, one of wedding music, and one holidays. He also has an extra pack you get for free when you buy an album, that includes some pop songs. Between one of his slbums and the free pack, there are two disney songs (Under the Sea and Kiss The Girl). I really like the Under the Sea version he does...
