Stealing is no big deal?

About 30 minutes ago I watched a middle aged man break into (easily done) the boardwalk games (closed) and steal stuffed animals! I yelled down from my 4th floor room "I can see you!" His response was so what.

I called the number for the front desk, they said they would report and send security; they never showed.

So I guess I can go over and help myself after the games close...it is my daughters actual b-day, she deserves a free prize, right?

Sorry, it really makes me mad to see You middle-aged white guys (smoking a cigar
at the time) steal. Anything from anywhere. Apparently they see Disney as an easy mark. As long as your a resort guest, all is forgivin.

Security never showed. I'd like a teddy bear and nemo too!

This guy was probably a DVC member too...Uggh they give us a bad rep!

What should I have done?; what would you do? I

can you go down to the front desk.. I know there is not too much you can do about it now, but maybe they can find a way to lock it up a little better to prevent more idiots from stealing.

I would of been snapping some pics on my cell phone immediately...or made a video of it.

They may not have been of any use, but at least I would have them if security wanted to see them.

I agree with OP. Seeing "middle aged white guys smoking cigars" stealing, as opposed some other ethnicity, age or sex, makes me sick. Disney really needs to get this demographic under control.

I just want to counter that I think it's a balance thing with Disney. While we were sitting at the Big River Grille inside seating area at lunch (while the booths were closed), we have witnessed an about 6-8 year old boy see a dropped stuffed animal just peaking out of the drop clothes at the shooting water booth, look at the stuffed animal, and then quickly put it back inside the booth so it ended up in it's proper place.

Plus, what are you going to do with a photo of the guy being a piece of *********? Arrest him? Really? I don't think so. No, this should have never happened but I'll bet that "middle aged white guys smoking cigars" don't care.

We do have a new generation and those are the ones we should care about. This guy will never care.

It never should have mattered if it was a middle aged white guy or any other race and age. Someone stealing is someone stealing.

Yep. That, and every other special they've been running to lower the bar. Of course if you make the case for this, many will flame you, saying you are hoity toity.

We've seen the quality of the guest population go down every year since 2008.
