Quick question couldn't find the answer in the reviews.

Is the Sunday Brunch covered by HB+ vouchers ?

Thanks for the quick reply :thumbsup2
I wasn't expecting it to be and had been working out the cost on using the HB+ at face value, what a nice surprise. :goodvibes

children are fully covered adults have to add 10euro
we had half board plus in sept but well worth the extra 10euro as drinks even wine included

Just to confuse matters here even more, we had real problems using HB premium in there today - they wouldn't accept them either in full payment or even at face value (which would have paid the cost in full as well).

They were very apologetic about it but said they weren't allowed to do it because they serve alcohol inclusive, which is against the HB policy - something like that anyway.

The half board rules are getting very confusing. I spoke to a CM in customer care and she said that The Steakhouse would take premium vouchers for the brunch but that you couldn't use them at face value to pay for the brunch.:confused3

We used our HB premium vouchers at the brunch there in December. How strange, they must have changed their policy.

I wonder if the restrictions are anything to do with the euro/pound exchange rate? The hb vouchers suddenly represent a very good saving so perhaps CM's are being more rigorous about restrictions? Having said that, I have had conflicting information regarding hb from different CM's.:confused3

We used our HB Premium in there no probs as well last month. They must've changed it since.

Thanks for logging in with uptodate info UKstitch, although not exactly what I wanted to hear ;)

Trust you're having a lovely time. :woohoo:

How annoying! Auberge serve alcohol too but they accept HB vouchers. If they stop doing so I should imagine the restaurant will get a little less popular!

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
That was the whole bloody point of me buying HB Premium vouchers. What am I supposed to do now with a HB premium voucher for 4 nights. If they won't accept them there, where can I use the stoooooooopid things?
It says, it says it says you can use them at lots of places. IT SAYS!!!!!

AND it even says in their brochure - their OWN brochure, that you can use HB Premium vouchers in the Steakhouse. IT SAYS!!!!!!!

If I were you then I'd take a copy of the brochure with you and then I can't see how they could argue the point. The alcohol arguement is a non-starter since they served alcohol last yr and accepted HB vouchers, plus Auberge include alcohol and accept HB vouchers.

They would allow them any other time - just not at the brunch apparently.

That is very very frustrating. I'm just saying

I'm not going to bother booking then for the Steakhouse brunch - as I was going to use HBplus vouchers there, and if I'm not allowed, I'm not going - so there :rotfl: !!!!!!!!!

I've booked for the steakhouse brunch for this Sunday and planned on using our hb plus vouchers. The brochure says that the vouchers are accepted but it does not specify the brunch. If they won't accept the vouchers, I ain't going!!!:rotfl:

Well I definitely used HB vouchers for the brunch last year. They were different then though, it was before HB Premium was brought in.
