Steakhouse other than Lecellier

I've did all of the research on 1TS Meals and I think
your best best is Capt. Grill.

We'd be willing to go to a 2TS restaurant instead, just need to swap some stuff around but it shouldn't be an issue.

I've never heard much about Captain's Grille, the menu doesn't look like anything special.

Yachtsman was very good last time we ate there. But I had a pretty darn good steak at Olivia's at OKW this August. I miss the Concourse Steakhouse - we really enjoyed their meals.

I loved the Yachtsman, but as stated 2 credits. I like the steak at Kona better then at LeCellier. The steak and shrimp at Yak & Yeti is also very tasty and is one credit. Narcoossee's was the only badly cooked steak I had during my last trip about 2 weeks ago. It was also $58.00. and 2 credits

Shula's at Dolphin is, in my opinion, best at WDW. Much better than Le Cellier.

Just my $0.02-

I think you're better off going out of pocket for a 2 TS meal and here's why. Your steaks at Le Cellier/Coral Reef/etc, are going to cost you $30-35 on average. It seems as though the prices for the 2 TS meals are $35-45 for the most part. Sure, it may be "better" than a 1 TS meal, but what you're literally doing in this situation is passing up 2 TS meals potentially worth $70 for just 1 TS meal worth $45.

We have enjoyed steaks at Kona several times. We will take Kona over LeCellier anytime.

You wanted 1TS credit outside of parks and there's not much.

MY DH and I agree with the previous posters about Yachtman. The steak there is amazing!!! DH stipulated before we booked bounceback for next year that we have to go there next time or he won't agree to bounceback.

We have had steak (Fillets when available) at several locations. Here are are favorites, which are outside of the parks. Unfortunately they are all 2 TS, but we think they are worth it.

Jiko (2 TS) - Filet with Macaroni and Cheese is incredible
Yachtsman Steakhouse (2 TS)
Narcossees (2 TS)
California Grill (2 TS)

Flying Fish (2 TS) - They have a great looking steak on the menu, but we have not tried it. We have been told great things about it.

I say Yachtsman too, but it is, as has already been said, two credits.

Here is a place that hasn't been mentioned yet....Shutters at CBR.

We were there in Sept and they have a great char crusted fillet. We actually went there twice this trip. The first time, I got the ribs, which were really good with a very interesting vanilla thing going on and everyone else got the steak. We ended up going back later in the week and I was quiet pleased with it.
