Hey guys!
I'm looking for a place that serves steak that would be open for an early dinner that doesn't require park admission.
Also we are on the dining plan so I'm looking for something that would only be 1ts.
Thanks!

The Yachtman Steak House at the Yacht Club is WONDERFUL! It's on the dining plan but requires 2 table service credits.

The GF Cafe has steak on their menu. Also I think Kona has a steak. Then there is Maya Grill at CSR, beautiful resort and I had a rib eye awhile back that was to die for. Hmm, lets see where else. WCC has a steak I believe. Wolfgang Pucks Cafe has a steak in DTD, Turf Club at SSR and Olivia's at OKW both have steaks and they both have delicous food. Easy to get to via DTD. YOu can bus to DTD from any resort then ride the boat to the resort, then do it in reverse order.

I would go on allearsnet.com and check out menus. Most every ts place in WDW that is not a buffet has steak on their dinner menu.

My DH thirds the previous two posters. He said it was much better than the over rated Le Cellier.

I agree about Yachtsmen, but its two ts and op said one ts. Now, if she can swing the credits, yeah, there is no steak like it at WDW that is on the DDP.

Right next door to the Yachtsman Steakhouse is The Captain's Grille which is also located at the Yacht Club, they have great steaks and I think they may share their kitchen with the Yachtsman :scratchin (1 TSC) We have enjoyed meals at both of these restaurants.

I say Yachtsman because the filet was incredible but DH says GFC because his NY Strip was to die for.

We ate at Kona for dinner on our last trip and the steaks were so good!!! I had the strip steak and dh had the prime rib. They were so much better than the ones we've had at Le Cellier.

We ate at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Hotel in 9/2008...I had the teriyaki steak (very good) and DH had the prime rib (also very good.

Also ate at The Wave (new restaurant at The Contemporary Hotel.) Very good steak on the menu (and you can get milkshakes for your DDP beverage, if you're doing DDP)...and it's easy to get ressies for The Wave, cuz it's new & apparently not very many people know it's there. We had great service & a great meal. Plus they have those fabulous trio sampler desserts. They open at 5:30.

We may be in the minority, but I miss the Concourse Steakhouse. Next march, I plan to try Narcoosee's surf and turf.:confused3

mky:cutie:

Raglan Road
I had the best steak of the trip at RR....found in the old Pleasure Island Area

I use to think the Coral Reef had an awsome steak but they changed their cuts during our last trip and it was thin & tough.

Raglan Road was thick, juicy and full of flavor. Very yummy!:thumbsup2

I just got back and ate at both Le Cellier and Teppan Edo (in Japan) and the steak at Teppan Edo was soooooooooooooooooooooo much better! I have photos of both meals in my trip report...go see for yourself! TE has several cuts of steak to choose from too.

I have to agree with everyone who picked the Yachtsmen.. for us we love this room and have never had a bad meal there. As a matter of fact, I had 12 people there in November last year and everyone had a great time.

We have an ADR for Le Cellier for when we go in January, not sure if we should try to get Yachtsmen now instead :/
