Steakhouse 71 walk-up experience?

Last night of our trip, I originally planned on a casual night at Three Bridges, but we went earlier in our trip after switching up some plans (and loved it BTW), so I do not have an ADR tonight. I am kicking myself for not remembering that we wanted to try Steakhouse 71. I have a *********** alert set, but am doubtful of a cancelation at this point. What is everyone's experience walk-up for dinner? Show up at 5 and hope for the best?

You can always sit in the lounge or bar area if they have no space to fit you into the main dining room.
