Steakhouse 55 Permanently Closed

Apologize if this is already posted somewhere but just saw that DL announced that Steakhouse 55 will not be reopening along with the rest of DLH and is, in fact, permanently closed. They are seeking new dinging options to replace. Bummer! I ate there on my first trip to DL several years ago and was hoping to hit it back up on our August trip.

Lame, that's one I was hoping to see open up before my next trip, I'd always wanted to try it and never managed to. I was going to try and make it a date night during the trip for DW and me

That's a shame. We had an amazing meal there in April 2019. I'm glad that we got to eat there before it closed.

Damn. We had reservations for a themed high tea there for my daughter and her cousin that was booked pre pandemic. Now they’ll never get to do it. Seemed like a cute memory.

Our family loved the tea there and I'd been stalking the site to hope to grab reservations when it opened back. I really hope they relocate the tea.

Eating their steaks as room service at DLH was one of the nicest things I've done.

(eating a really good steak in boxer shorts in your DLH room is up there with Rise of the Resistance, ngl)

Honestly, I would love to understand why this decision was made ... it seems like this was a well-loved location. Curious if Napa Rose was just drawing too much business away ...

Oh, nooooo. I really liked having breakfast at Steakhouse 55 (It was on the pricier side, but I really enjoyed it).

This is soooo sad. This was my favorite place for tea, breakfast, and dinner! (Been known to do all 3 in one day!) I had heard this back the beginning of June, but had seriously hoped the source was way off base. I'm still hoping they are off base, as their version was it was to expand Goofy's.
