Steakhouse 55 or Massage?

We are coming in less than a month for a week and staying at PP. My wife's birthday is during the trip and I wanted to surprise her one secret thing during the trip. Can't decide between a res I have at Steakhouse 55 on our last night or booking her a 1 hour body masssage at Grand Californian. Thoughts or Experience that might help me decide?

Does she have somewhere at home where she gets massages regularly? If so, I think I would go with the nice dinner at S55 because it's something she can't do at home. If she does not, I'd go with the massage!

The other option? A computer-made gift certificate from you to her giving her the choice!

I was just discussing your situation with my husband and I thought "I would rather have the massage, because I won't walk out of there weighing more then I came in." Also you leave feeling great, were as eating a great meal, you often don't feel so good after.

Of course the steakhouse you get to enjoy also, unless you do couples massage.

I totally vote for the massage! Depending on how much you want to send and how much time you have there is a promotion that I saw that my BF and I are going to try and work in when we are there in Sept. It's a 25min back massage, 25min refresher facial and 25min foot massage.

Check the spa offers before you go. They had the same things last year but they called it BFF (Body, Face, Feet) instead of the Express Yourself promo. I can't wait!

I LOVE massages and would vote for a couple's massage, but since you said that was not an option, I'll go against the grain.

If it were me, I'd love the massage, but I'd want to spend time together. If Steakhouse 55 gives you a nice family dinner (or a date night with someone watching the kids) then that is what I would want.

I think I'd rather spend the time WITH my husband and get a massage at home somewhere at another time.

Either way you can't go wrong. I hope she enjoys whatever you choose!
