Hey...

Any restaurants with really good steak... without spending $$$ lol I'm looking for in between 20-30$

thanks :)

Many people will recommend Le Cellier, but that is a hard ADR to get. I'll recommend Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. Had a great strip steak there last year and I believe it was in the price range you mentioned.

If you want Le Cellier, go for lunch. the mushroom filet is under $30 at lunch and over $30 at dinner. I have no idea if it's the same size or not.

I highly recommend Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.

They have a wonderful ribeye, it is very tender and tasty. Have had it a couple times and it was perfectly cooked.

If I remember right it is around $25.

My husband and I ate at The Brown Derby, which if I remember is in the Magic Kingdom, and we both had an awsome steak with a choice of baked sweet potato or boniato (Cuban) potatoes. We also tried the fried ice cream and it was delicious. This was a few years ago so the prices may have gone up, but the meal including dessert was about $25/person.

I agree with the pp who mentioned that Le'Cellier is a very difficult ADR. Personally for me, I'll pass; I think the place is way over rated for a good but not great steak, and the atmosphere is an absolute zoo, this is JMHO. Also, the steaks are over $30. Being a 1TS restaurant on the DDP makes this place a huge hit. .

I will agree with those who recommmeded the Captains Grille and Coral Reef for a nice steak. The Captains Grille has become one of my favorite restaurants and was a very pleasant surprise the first time we were there. There is very little theming, but the food is very good, and we found the service to be excellent. The Coral Reef can also be a tough ADR, but not as tough as Le'Cellier. This place can be hopping as well, but the atmosphere is excellent and they do have a very good steak. Both of these restaurants are in your price range of $25-$30.

As for the Brown Derby; it is a signature restaurant and the menu will reflect that as well. The 12oz N.Y. Strip is the only steak on the menu for dinner ( if I remember right) and that price was $36. For me, the place is not worth being a signature restaurant. The food was good, just not worth the price.

Turf Club (SSR) has GOOD steaks. :thumbsup2 Also we have always had good luck at Chefs de France. And DH always likes the steak offered at Kona. (Although it has been awhile since we have eaten there.)

A while back I had seen on these boards that the Flying Fish had the best steak and on our last trip a few weeks ago we tried it and it was really good, all 4 of us had it and we all agreed it was the best we have had in Disney, but I don't remember the price.

Try a steak at lunch. Also, the amazingly good filet at The Wave is available in the high $20s.

but if it does the Yachtsman was AWESOME last year. 6 adults left all raving about their steak. It is a signature resturant, but I dont remember looking at the prices and thinking they were outrageous.
