Steak Dinner on Property or Off????

Hi to all

DD is a CM at Epcot We are going down in May and the dinner she has requested is STEAK Can't afford it on a CM's salary

We have eaten at Canada several times and she is disappointed that they changed the menu......We have never tried The Yachtsman Steakhouse - have a ressie there for this trip

Is there anywhere else on OR off property to take her for a wonderful filet that only her MOM and DAD can afford We are willing to go off property for a good steak.

Shula's is out.....not paying that kind of money.....YIKES to the prices

Went 2 weeks ago for the first time to Yachtsman and was absolutely floored... The Menu was excellent, the Wine Menu very impressive, Service was Exceptional and the Food was Incredible.

Strong Recommendation. Question do you recommend the Canadian Steakhouse... wanted to try that when I returned for the F&W Festival.

We have been to the Canadian Steakhouse many many times - used to go there when you could walk right up to the front door and be seated. Anyone remember when it was cafeteria style????

We have always enjoyed the food and the service - never a problem. BUT we have not been back since the menu change......DD CM is very very disappointed that they did away with the filet and bbq sauce.....her personal fav.....she doesn't like mushrooms.

That is why we are starting to look at alternatives.

Anyone else?

Yachtsman is a great steakplace. Other places have a good cut on their menu, but's a not a true steakhouse - you know?

With a CM discount, it'll actually be in line with some off site steakhouses. Location can't be beat, of course!
