We are so excited! We discovered S&S during a road trip and never had one locally. Now they are getting ready to open one up just down the street from where we live. Very happy to see them finally come to our city.

I thought I was finished shopping, and already have presents for my elderly in laws, but they LOVE the "Chili 5 Ways" at Steak n Shake, and this would be something nice to stick in their Christmas card. My FIL has been having some eye surgeries recently, and I'm thinking they could stop in after his appointments and "Takhomasak"

We love this Steak 'n Shake deal every year. Our local Steak 'n Shakes offer free kids meals on the weekends. We purchase a gift card when we arrive so we have it to pay for our meal. Then we order three adult meals and one kids meal with waters to drink. We adults order from the $3.99 menu so our total is $12 before tax & tip. We use the gift card to pay and still have a little money left over on the card. If we do that each weekend during the promo period we have the $5 gift cards to use in January as well as the remaining amounts on the original gift cards so we can eat free a time or two in January.

We can't really afford much dining out so this is really a special treat for the family and heck, it is cheaper then what we'd end up ordering at fast food

Oh man, the DH and I miss Steak and Shake so much...we lived in the Midwest for two years and fell in love, now that we're back in the Southwest, there are none to be found The closest one is several hundred miles away.

I liked the guacamole burger, and my husband loved the shakes...koolaid, special dark, and especially key lime pie!!!
