Staying two nights: do both at CBR or switch to WL 2nd night?

We are AP holders who go to Disney a lot. We are a family of five, so we are limited as to what resort that we can stay at. We are staying at CBR for two nights in September at a great AP rate of $130. My dh is leaving town after the first night and generously suggested that we go to a four person hotel for the second night. The WL is available for $286.

Is it worth the trouble and extra money? We have stayed at CBR before and do like it. This will be the first time we can go to the pool there though, as our previous stay was in January. We can do the pool on Sunday. Then go to WL on Monday. It would be something new for us at Disney since we go a lot, and get to check out their pool too. It is a lot more money and effort though. We will not spend all day at the parks either way I decide as we have been so many times since we have a house in Winter Park 35 minutes away.

I keep going back and forth with it, but need to decide before that rate is gone. We don't often have only four people there.

Thanks for help and input.

If it were me, I'd stick with CBR for the 2 nights. We love the WL and while I think the extra cost to upgrade is worth it, it wouldn't be worth the hassle for me to do a split for a 2 night trip (but that's just me). Also, the WL is currently undergoing construction. Not sure if that would impact your decision or not, but wanted to mention it just in case you weren't aware. Good luck with your decision :).

WL is worth the money but as much as Iove it there is no way I'd move 4 people for one night. Take the money and have a nice dinner or let the kids pick out a souvenir they wouldn't ordinarily get.

I vote stay. You'll only have each room for 20 hrs or less. Plus all the packing / unpacking, either calling bell services or carrying suitcases from room to car to room.

Also as another person has stated, construction is messing things up at WL

I second this. Mickeynut1 says it perfectly!
