Staying the night at airport hotel then using ME next morning

Ok so my question is.....(dum dum dimmm)
Our flights get into MCO pretty late on a saturday night like 11 or so can we cut expenses and stay at a cheap hotel at the airport and then take ME over the next morning? I hate to pay for a whole day at a Disney resort when we wont arrive till late. Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you!!

We did that exact thing this past December trip...landed at MCO at about 10 pm and stayed at the hotel that is inside the airport. Worked out perfectly. We couldn't check in until the next day to get the free dining plan but the flights were hundreds of dollars cheaper just taking the late flight the night before. More than made up for the hotel cost...the kids were really tired and they sent someone up to put bedrails on the kids bed at 11pm. As a treat we ordered room service breakfast then checked out and got in line at the Magical Express around 9am...got checked into our resort and were at Epcot by 10:30 am...we were practically the only ones on the airport bus at that hour before the daily flights started arriving...worked out perfectly!

We have also had a late arriving flight and stayed at the Hyatt at the airport. Next morning we picked up a rental car and were on our way!

We are also flying in the night before in August and staying at hotel in MCO. I am a bit nervous though, because I got the DME letter the other day, and the only transfers listed were from the hotel back to MCO at the end of our trip! Should there be transfers listed for the following morning too??? I am having anxiety about going to DME in morning and being turned away!!

We stayed at the airport and I called ME as I was worried too...we got in at 3 am and had a day room at the Hyatt..we awoke at 10 and on ME at 11. It was great.

Which hotel? We get in at midnight, but since we have free dining, I am not sure if the price difference would be worth giving up the extra meals.
