Staying the night after cruise and going to blizzard beach, which hotel?

We definitely want to stay in Disney for a night after our cruise just not sure what we want to do while we are there, we were thinking blizzard beach since we have never been and not too pricey. Is a waterpark after the cruise going to be too tiring? Would be the same day as debarkation. Other ideas, and which hotel would be closest to blizzard beach?

Blizzard Beach is closest to Animal Kingdom lodge, Coronado Springs and All Star Resorts. So you have a deluxe, a moderate and a value to choose from.
You should be fine in regards to going to a water park after the cruise. Depending on time of year, they either close at 5 :00 PM (now) or 8:00 PM Summer. At some point they extend the hours from 5 to 6 PM but that extra hour should not be a big deal breaker.

Main dining has about a 6:45 AM breakfast on debarkation day. How will you deal with that?
