Staying @ POP & want to decorate your window? We need someone to Takeover the thread!

I am so sorry about this - I was so careful to check and doublecheck all of my contact info! I swear to you the last PM I received from her gave me her info and said absolutely nothing about cancelling or even thinking about cancelling and I clearly told her to feel free to give me a shout with any changes - have not heard anything since!:confused3 I don't think there was anything I could of done or changed to avoid this...:sad1:

It's not your fault. You did your part properly. Don't worry it will all get straighten out.:thumbsup2

Thank you!

You know I have been sitting here thinking about this and how it played out and just might have an idea. When I dropped of the boxes I did it at two seperate times, obviously different CM's. The first CM immediately filled out a claim ticket for me, the second one did not and I had to ask for one. If this works out that we can retrieve the boxes using the claim number perhaps we should list in the "rules" that a claim number/ticket must be requested and that number pm'd to the organizer upon return from WDW? It might make it a whole lot easier to track down and take possession of wayward packages? I got and saved the numbers just because that is my way but at the time never thought twice about how important they could actually become. Anyway it was just a thought!

Yes.. I got it! Thank you! I am sorry I have not had a chance to respond to all of the PM's yet, we just got back two days ago (stayed in Florida an extra 10 days) and things are just a little hectic! I am so glad the card was enjoyed!:goodvibes

Newfie, is there any other info you could let me know about...description of packages, markings, etc. Thanks!

Hhhmmm... Well, I gave you the claim numbers, the name left to, the date they were supposed to be picked up, the name left by, let me see if I can think of something to help out. One of the boxes, I believe it was Box 1 was a box that used to hold the napkins for the POP cafe - I am not sure of the exact size but if I had to estimate it I would guess about 18" x 18" X 30", now this could be way off as it is only a guess - I am sitting here trying to go from memory and estimate using a ruler - not so easy to do! The only markings on it would be the actual napkin markings and the labels I put on it. I believe I used 8 x 10 sheets of lime green paper to label the box and I think I put labels on at least three possibly four sides of the box. The second box is going to be slightly harder.... it is the same box used to ship the stuff back to WDW by another poster, perhaps she will read this and be of more help - but same labels were used, I think the same amount of them too. This box was smaller perhaps 18" X 15" X 24" - again only a guess. Both boxes were brown cardboard. I tried to clean up the second box so that no other markings were shown except for the labels.

Sorry I can't be of more help but I am having a rough time trying to describe a box and an even harder time trying to estimate the size... hopefully by now you have located them!

NO such luck with the claim numbers! talked to 2angels last night adn they couldn't find the boxes!!! The claim numbers didn't work and the first and last name of the people didn't work either :( now what? she's still trying though~!

Did they try going by the dates left on the boxes for pick-up? Perhaps they kind of organize the storage room by the dates the packages are to be picked up and because the dates were so far in advance they got back in the "far corners" of the room? This was the only thing I could think of which might help.

They are there... I know they are! I am kind of confused as I had no problems leaving the boxes! In fact as I said I left them at two different times with two different CM's, how in the world could they both have ended up MIA? :confused3 As I shared with you the first time I attempted to get the boxes I was told there were no boxes left for me, but the second attempt they found them pretty quickly after I gave them an approximate size. And when I dropped the first one off they complimented on labeling the boxes on different sides making their job all that much easier to do... I am so  ! Maybe our best shot would be to try and find someone going at approximately the same time as the original pick-up? I am guessing the date on the boxes has to have something to do with it as both boxes are missing, different days dropped off, different cms, the only common factor is that darn date - they had to wind up somewhere together? Okay...think...think...think! There has got to be a way!

as of last night, she did try 2 different times and was going to try again today, but i believe she is only there one night. soo if she can't find them, we are going to have to find another way to get them! hahaha! hhmmm...

This has happened before, way back when they couldn't find the 2 ENORMOUS boxes shipped down to myself only a few days before and they arrived on 2 different days. IT took them several hours to finally locate them and it was still only found one at a time. I have no clue where they were, but it took a loong time :)

Okay...I feel better - there is still hope! Wherever they were is probably exactly where the two boxes are right now!:goodvibes Maybe by now she has located them! The only other thing I can think of is perhaps she can ask them to call her when they are located (you know kind of act like she is being inconvenieced by their inability to locate them) and then when/if they call ask them to change the name/dates on the box? I don't know I am kind of grasping at straws trying to think of something...

well at least she has my number now! and we should be able to figure asomething out. Maybe those CMs put the boxes in a "place they would never forget"

Don't you ever do that?? and then when i am looking for that thing again, i have NO CLUE where they are!!

Michele what board is this thread on ? I have another thread going for People going the same time as me and someone asked about it>
