I just found this thread (where the heck have I been?!) and if I can be added at the (closing in on) 11th hour, I'd love to get the box. We will be at POP from 12/30/06-1/5/07.

I've been planning this trip for 2 months as a surprise for DS who has no clue we are going to Disney again this year, or that Santa is taking the extended family, too. I want to make this as special as possible.

I am driving down, but one less thing to pack is great to me

Just thought I would check in and let everyone know that box 5 is in a styrofoam cooler. I opened it and immediately re-sealed it and left for the next person in line. There was really nothing in there that was for Christmas. We had brought enough of our own decorations to do our window though. I will try to post pics tomorrow am working today and haven't had a chance to download pics yet.

A quick howdee doo to all of you!​

I am in a bit of a funk trying to figure out what to get my wonderful mother (who buys everything she wants for herself) and my amazing daughter (who is really wanting for nothing in this world.) Yes I know there is precious little time left, but, I am a procrastinator by nature

Do they have any hobbies? What do they tend to NOT get for themselves? My DS7 has just about everything he's ever asked for (only child, only grandchild on one side, only grandson on the other) and we always have this same problem. This year Santa is surprising him with a trip for the family to Disney World, but that will be hard to match next year

What about giftcards, or taking all 3 of you to the spa for the afternoon to spend time together?

I am so SAD! I just found out that my music audition for my university falls in the week that I was going to stay at the Pop (Jan. 17-21) and it can't be changed, so I have to cancel my trip and hopefully reschedule it for a later date. WAAAHHHH!

Please forgive me - I hope this doesn't cause a big mess with the boxes. And for those of you going, please have a big bunch of fun for me!

We're Back.

Box 5 REALLY needs a bigger box. I cleaned it out, and it's still full. There was quite a bit of things that people have left for future box holders, and I found people to give it all to - can cozies, bubbles, etc. I was really surprised how happy kids were to get the bubbles before the parade.

Box 5 contents include lights, pooh & princess clings, some non-disney stuff like butterflies & smiley faces, a few little toys to sit on the ledge, green garland, flower garland, window markers, tape, suction cups, pooh & mickey placemats, lots of Halloween stuff. I didn't make a list, so if I think of other stuff, I'll post it later.

The Christmas tree from mousebit never arrived.

But her special gift to me did - her 2 tickets to MVMCP!!!! Again, THANK YOU BARB!!!

DMM, I'm sending you a PM - we booked the free dining offer for next Sept., so I can sign up for a box again.

Does the box need anything? Do we have a list of some of what is in it?

I also see that I am to pass the box on to Cathryn Rose. Is her user name different? The PM system rejected her...although, the PM system has been finicky the last week. I guess it needs a winter break, too.

I know it took me a while so here are my pictures. I took them right before I took everything down. Forgot to take pictures. Sheesh!

People signed the door almost everyday. No disers though. From the handwriting I think they were kids. But that's ok.

Way back in this thread I posted them so you can see them better before we left.

I used window cling paper that you put in your printer. Found some clip art I liked, played with it in Word, and followed the directions for printing because you have to use the mirror setting so it prints backwards.

Very easy.
