Staying @ POP & want to decorate your window?We need someone to Takeover the thread!

HOWDY!!!

Anyone know if the electrical outlet is very close to the window? Will we need to have an extension cord? Also what are some safe methods of holding up lights.- In safe I mean without marking walls. Thank you!

From what i remember it was right under the window, BUT i'm not positive, my mind clouds after having a baby and trying to keep all these threads active!!

We used tape in the window itself to hold them up, but Macraven has also sung the praises of suction cups!!

I was thinking we should either decorate the box with hd mickey mouse heads with the number of the room and our name on the box. Or to sign the box with your name and the room number so you can see if anyone stayed in the same room as you.

The bag I have for "box 1" has Mickey on it. I am going to add a small notebook too so we can keep kind of a running journal of who all has had the decorations and when we were there. Putting the room numbers is a great idea! Also maybe what we added to the bag. It will be fun if everyone would post back on here after they get home so we can "track" the boxes.

GREAT idea! i was actually going to include a notebook so we could sign it and write a message to the next family!! the room number part is pretty cool though!!

CoinKc, yes i was hoping that this thread would also remain the manitenance thread for the boxes/Bags to keep track of what is needed and what is in there

please let me STRESS that box 1 is CLOSED! i cannot make anymore alterations to it as the box will be starting soon and we REALLY must keep it on track. you CAN add dates onto the end though, but that is IT! thanks so much and i really do want to find a place for everyone, just not in BOX 1 anymore thanks!!!!!

i would be glad to take my decorations over to someone at pop if you need more items for a box.

i have so much going on right now i don't think i could coordinate a new thread for the all stars people for passing on room/door decorations.

also, you are fantastic on all this organization, i could not even come close to what you have accomplished !

but, i could donate my items on oct 5th to someone at the pop.
