We are planning for Nov 24-Dec 3 of 2006 at CSR. Our first night is considered Regular season and the rest is value season. Even though it is only a $15 difference a night, it equals an extra $120 for the trip. Can I book one night at the regular price then make a new reservation for the other 7 nights at the value price? Will we be able to stay in the same room or will we get moved?

Yes you should split your reservation. Tell reservations that you have a continuing reservation, also tell them the same thing when you check in and chances are you won't have to move.

You will have to visit the front desk again and receive new keys.
