Staying outside the parks(Reunion), looking for taxi / car service suggestions / help

In August of 2013 we will be driving to DisneyWorld from NY, and staying in a house just outside the parks, in Reunion. I was looking at taxi / car service in the area for the kids to use when I don't feel like driving them my self. I have read about Mears, sounds OK but expensive. I was looking for your suggestions / help on any other taxi / car services in the area. Thanks, Pat

I'm not absolutely sure I get what it is you are looking for. Do you want someone to get your kids from point A to point B while in the WDW area?? You are going to find that most are somewhat expensive. A cab may be your best bet...should be a bit cheaper than a car service. Most here recommend the yellow cabs in the WDW area.

I have read about Mears, sounds OK but expensive.

I'm not sure you're going to do too much better than this. Reunion is not exactly close, a good 12 miles from the MK drop off area.
