Staying organized?

TOTALLY love these ideas! I think I am definitely going with the half size binder! Can't wait to put mine together!

I LOVE our half size binders! I actually have 3 - one for each trip I'm planning over the next 3 years. I now have a template that I use for each new trip so I don't forget anything. :thumbsup2

That's great! I love it - definitely putting one together! Care to share your template? :)

I'd love to, but only have it in an OpenOffice file. If you have that program, I'd be happy to share. I tried saving it as an MS Office file, but the spacing gets messed up.

You know, the first time we went it was all so new so I had typed up a few pages of notes of affordable restaurants I knew my kids would eat at (back when they were more picky), things I knew we wouldn't want to miss and show/event times but honestly, we rarely pulled it out of our backpack to look at it. I packed my brain full of information from here and that carried me through the days and we had great success and a fantastic time.

If there are things you know you will forget or important notes to make, I would recommend bringing a little notebook with tabs to make it easier. Or even create "Notes" on your smartphone, since you likely won't go anywhere without that. I put the events in my phones calendar that I knew we didn't want to miss (Aladdin, etc) with alerts before they started. That helped.

I think before you go for the first time, everything thing you think you need to remember seems so overwhelming but I found that once we were there and saw it for ourselves, everything made more sense. It's really not as complicated as it can seem on here but the knowledge you gain here is sooooo helpful!

My notebook was a great help! Especially for keeping track of confirmation numbers and ticket info. I still need to do some tweaking, but I will definitely be using a notebook for my next three trips!

I should have gone with the half size book, but all the templates I found were for a full size...

I used to have a folder with all my trip information - flights, hotels, restaurants and list of rides/attractions not to be missed. But now I put everything on my Iphone - calendar/notes. For myself, I found it awkward when I had to pull out my folder or a piece of paper when I was checking in for my flights etc. But I do use an Excel spreadsheet to semi-organize my days with the DL/DCA hours/parades/fireworks schedules on it. This kind of gives me a whole picture of my days but nothing is written in stone. We just plan on which day to enter which park and go with the flow.
