Staying onsite, visiting FW.

We are a family group that will be staying at various DIsney resorts. We are looking for somewhere to kind of just meet up for an afternoon. Some will have hoppers, some wont, some only have a few days tickets.

Since my boys love FW I was thinking a day visiting the Fort would be nice. We could do the Tri-Circle-D, walk the Nature Trail, etc


If they play at the playground near the Settlement Trading post, do you know if there are picnic tables there? We could bring a bag lunch!

not sure about picnic tables but could bring blankets find a shady grass area to picnic. would take the boat from MK over and back,do not need park tickets. if driving will need to park at front and bus to back. remember to have kids wear sneakers or closed toe shoes for barns.

They have tables with umbrellas down on the dock, which is right near the playground.

Also Trail's End has take out pizza and a chicken dinner.

Giddyup and Go - 10 pieces of chicken $23.39 served with cornbread and 2 sides. They have pinic tables on the porch.
