Staying onsite, and FOTL question

Probably asked and answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

I thought I read somewhere that showing your room key also helped with the lines at some of the in-park restaurants? Or am I crazy??

Yes , you show your key and it usually gets you moved up the list. Some report next available seating, but have never had that, but its usually busy in July when we are there

I tried that once when staying at HRH and the person at the restraurant (Margaritaville) looked at me like I had 3 heads. Needless to say, it didn't help me at all.

I just found what I was reading to read again. It says "select" citywalk restaurants. I wonder which ones?

Just show it, let them decide. I know Porch Of Indecision is one that does not take it.
