This is my first time to Universal, were going in 2 weeks and relize the lines are probley going to be really long. I also noticed they only express passes for Saturday available..
My ? is I have read if you stay on site, you can express pass on both days, the day you check in and the day you check out.
Were only going for 2 days, both parks, so I thinking if I could just book the on site hotel for one night.. but my problem is we arrive Thursday and will probley check in around 12:30 am. We were planning on doing the parks Friday and Saturday, so if check in on Thursday night so late, will the passes be good for Friday and Saturday or not?

if not and I end up only getting the pass for Saturday, which park do you recommend we use it at?

FYI- Its just me and hubby going.. "no kids vacation"

I would call the hotel and ask specifically what time check-in becomes Friday. Make sure you make your reservation is for Friday night and not Thursday night.

We checked in once at 1am -a Thursday to the following Sunday (10 days). We checked in the night of that Thursday (actually 1:00am Friday morning) and they did count it as Thursday night rather than Friday morning. However, it might have been different if we had actually made our reservations for Friday through Sunday.

If any of this made sense, I would advise calling and asking exactly how early you can check in for it to be Friday.

Express passes are available for everyday. Go back to the page you were looking at and scroll down to see all of the charts with all of the days. People often just notice the first couple of charts on that page.

After much confusion:confused3 and scrolling up and down.. I finally seen it. Not sure how I missed it before...lol
Thanks so much..:thumbsup2

So at $140 ( 2 people) is it worth it? Even if we show up early around 8am and try to get all the main one done before 11am?
I just cant decide if we should get them or not.:confused3

We just returned from US/IOA. We could usually get a few big coasters done if we got to the parks right away, but the lines got huge quite quickly. Last Thursday, the line for Hulk had a 30 minute wait by 9:45. I'd either buy the Express Pass, or stay onsite. If it weren't for our onsite ressies, we would have spent hours in line each day.

Don't buy the express pass beforehand. Go to the parks and see what the lines are like before you buy them. They are available in many stores and booths within the parks.

You can also only use the pass once on each ride. So if you ride everything early without the passes and then the lines get busy and then you want the passes, get them then.
