Staying on site question

If you are staying at Paradise Pier... are you allowed to use the pools at the other hotels? I would like to check out the new pool/slide at Disneyland Hotel, but obviously the price is better at PP.

You are not supposed to use the other pools unless your own resort pool is closed.

I was hoping to do the same thing. We're staying at GCH but wanted to take DD to the DH pool with the new monorail slide. Was told we wouldn't be ablet o do that.

Most everyone staying at DL would probably want to go to the Disneyland Hotel pools. We stayed at the Grand last year and my kids liked the pool but really wanted to be at the Neverland pool.
