Staying on site at Disney.....

Does anyone know if Disney accommodation is ever included in "late deals" (e.g as a package with a holiday company)?
I've been searching for last-minutes deals and there only ever appear to be hotels etc. on I Drive, Lake BV etc.

I'm particularly interested in the log cabins at Fort Wilderness- they are above our budget at brochure price, so was wondering if there's any way of getting a bargain!

Its very hard to find UK based "late deals" for WDW hotels. The only time they come up, its usually All Stars and still never what I would call "cheap".

Your best bet is to book the accomodation yourself, as UK travel agents will charge per person, yet all USA hotel rooms are booked per room (inc the Disney ones). It maybe worth one of your party getting a Disney Annual Pass, which means you are entitled to great rates on all Disney hotels.

Try calling Disney CRO (Central Reservations) on 001-407-934-7639. They will let you know what rates are available. Tell them you are an AP holder (even if you havent bought it yet, you dont need it till check in) and see what they can offer. Another place to try is www.dreamsunilimitedtravel.com as they can do great deals on WDW rooms.

Don't know if this will help or not...we called Saturday p.m. and were told that the cabins were $234/night to reserve for July/August. It's best to call the CR number and just chat with them about what you want, they "can" be extremely helpful! Good luck!

Don't know if this helps you or not - but the TA's in this country drastically overprice the cabins. If you book a flydrive and do the cabins direct with WDW (see above post) it will be cheaper. Might be worth exploring in case that brings it within your budget?

We just returned from our first stay on site and absolutely loved it. I thoroughly recommend it
